Poet Laureate of Ontario
The Poet Laureate of Ontario Act (In Memory of Gord Downie) honours the late poet and lead singer of popular Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip, who passed away in October 2017. This bill was passed in 2019 and the first Poet Laureate of Ontario was appointed in 2021. I was honoured to get the chance to develop the official logo and website (ontariopoet.org) for this prestigious role.
