The Compendium of Curious Cryptids
This was an exercise in book layout. I was inspired by boy scout manuals from the '70s and thought it would be funny to make a handbook on sasquatches and the like. I used a lot of texture, opacities and an overall warm and earthy colour scheme to achieve that vintage feel. I typeset most of the copy in Futura to further drive home a classic look.
